Postsecret

So, I have been following PostSecret for a few years now. I just think it's a very cool project. ("PostSecret is an ongoing community art project where peoplemail in their secrets anonymously on one side of a postcard.") Plus, it's pretty awesome to read the things that people put out there for everyone, that they couldn't necessarily say out loud, or without the anonymity. So I think I'll post my favorite each week. There were others that spoke to me, but this one made a happy and a little hopeful.

Even better than piano playing cats.

I will never be this coordinated. I think I'm ok with that, as this guy seems to be the only person in existence that is that coordinated.

Piano cat is stealing your cds.

Whoa. No, really, there aren't any words.

N Z(ed).

When I was in Australia for my semester abroad, I had planned to stop in New Zealand and Fiji on my way home. They are so pretty, and reasonably close.* But I had so much fun in Oz, Ari and I got caught up there and never made it to NZ or Fiji. (I did make it to Tasmania, though. So amazing. I was there 3 days and would have been happy another 3 weeks!) Anyhow, I still plan to get back Down Under, and this time hit up the neighboring countries, like New Zealand. Someday...

I wish I were brave enough to do this.

But I'm not. And I'm ok with that when people like this are around for me to vicariously live through.

Save a plastic tree!

Flashback: 20 minutes ago at Wal-Mart

Me [sheepishly, because I knew something like this would happen]: Hi, I brought some bags with me so you don't have to give me plastic ones.
Wal-Mart Employee: Ugh, really, I hate those things.

Really? WTF? Honestly. You sell those things! And you claim to be all eco-friendly now (which, yes, I know is bs, but that's besides the point of it being their claim)! And I get it, I'm a cashier too, and have been one at a big box store. It sucks. Pretty much working overnight sucks too. But you picked this job. Whatever, try to think outside the packaging in the future. Please?!

OMG Shoes!

Specifically, these shoes. I want them. A lot. They are on sale. But still $100. That I don't have. So I guess I won't buy them. But I still love them. I guess I should be grateful that they only have 9's in the color I want, no half sizes and the 10's are ugly colors. Whatevs.
