This weekend went all too quickly and I don't have the brain power? energy? werewithall? something else? to write my bachelorette post just yet. Instead I will placate you with more pretty wedding pictures.
I couldn't resist this one. My husband looks too hot. Also, I can't stop saying "my husband." Husband! Husband! Husband! Photo via Noah Devereaux.
This made me happy. And just like webgoddess said, gotta love a practical joke that's really funny but not actually at anyone's expense. Clicky and enjoy the next five minutes of your life.
So, in penance for my extended absence, I'm working on a super huge post jam-packed with every giveaway I could get my hands on (which is a lot). But in the meantime, I have two totally different but equally awesome videos to share with you.
First up, sent along by my mom, a video that was made for an AARP contest about where the entrants think they will be at 50. Check it out, about halfway through, it gets awesome.
This one is from my honey. Colbert does it again. Proving, once again, how awesome Sarah Palin is. I mean, we all cribbed from our hands once, and I mean, she can see Russia from her house. Palin 2012!*
I never knew this until Julie/Julia, but Julia Child is freaking hilarious. She is kind of hulking too, but dang, wit like crazy and handy with a blowtorch. Here she is at her finest, glossing over problems on David Letterman, and coming out the funnier one in the bit. Enjoy!
Prop 8 was so stupid. Enjoy. This has a ridiculous amount of stars, John C. Riley (Chicago), Jack Black, Allison Janney (West Wing), Sarah Chalke (Scrubs), a bunch of SNLers and of course, my favorite, Neil Patrick Harris! They really do bring up a good point (and extra points for doing so musically!), granting gay marriage rights would add a lot of cash flow to the wedding industry, among its other, plentiful pros. Yay capitalism!
